1. Our Mission
Grounded Learning CE, LLC is dedicated to providing high-quality, unbiased, and accessible electrical continuing education that advances public safety, professional competence, and industry compliance. Our educational mission is to empower electricians with knowledge grounded in the National Electrical Code and applicable state and local regulations.
2. Core Ethical Principles
Public Safety First
All course content prioritizes electrical safety, hazard recognition, and code compliance. Our content is designed to protect public safety and professional integrity in electrical work.
Educational Integrity
Course content is factually accurate, based on current NEC standards and applicable state electrical codes, and regularly updated to reflect code changes and industry best practices.
Independence and Impartiality
Course content is free from commercial bias and manufacturer influence. We do not use continuing education credits to promote specific brands, products, or services. Content decisions are made solely on educational merit and relevance to electrician competence and safety.
Transparency and Honesty
We provide accurate, complete information about course content, credit hours, state approvals, and learning objectives. We do not misrepresent accreditation status or state acceptance.
Inclusivity and Access
All courses are accessible to qualified professionals regardless of background, geography, or prior experience level. We provide reasonable accommodations for learners with disabilities and ensure our platform meets accessibility standards.
Regulatory Compliance
We maintain full compliance with all state and federal regulations governing CE providers, including record retention, reporting, instructor qualifications, and content review standards across every state we serve.
3. Prohibited Conduct
The following practices are strictly prohibited:
• Using continuing education courses to directly promote specific manufacturer products, brands, or commercial services in exchange for CE credit.
• Misrepresenting course content, credit hours, state approvals, or learning objectives.
• Issuing certificates of completion to students who did not complete all course requirements, assessments, or time requirements.
• Discriminating against students on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
• Sharing student personal information with third parties for commercial purposes without explicit student consent and a legal basis.
• Falsifying student completion records or attendance records.
• Mishandling student tuition or financial information.
4. Instructor Standards
All instructors for Grounded Learning CE courses are required to:
• Maintain current professional credentials relevant to the course subject matter (journeyman or master electrician license, or related professional certification).
• Stay current with National Electrical Code updates and state-specific electrical code changes.
• Deliver course content that is free from personal commercial bias or manufacturer influence.
• Treat all students with respect and maintain professional conduct.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Comply with all course design and assessment standards established by Grounded Learning CE.
5. Reporting Ethics Violations
How to Report
Anyone aware of a potential ethics violation should report it immediately to Grounded Learning CE, LLC management:

Investigation Procedure
All reports will be treated seriously and investigated promptly. The company will acknowledge receipt of the report within 2 business days, conduct a fair and impartial investigation, maintain confidentiality throughout the investigation, and notify the reporter of the investigation outcome.
Whistleblower Protection
Grounded Learning CE prohibits retaliation against any employee, instructor, or student who reports an ethics violation in good faith. Anyone who experiences retaliation should report it immediately using the procedures above.
6. Annual Review and Acknowledgment
This Code of Ethics is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect regulatory changes and industry standards. All staff and instructors are required to review and acknowledge this Code of Ethics annually in writing. Acknowledgments will be maintained by human resources and made available for audit purposes.
