Grounded Learning CE, LLCLast Updated: April 28, 2026 | Effective Date: April 28, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website at http://www.groundedlearningce.com and any services provided by Grounded Learning CE, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.2. Services Provided
Grounded Learning CE provides online electrical continuing education (CE) courses, exam preparation materials, and related educational services for licensed electricians and electrical contractors. Our services include self-paced CE course modules covering NEC 2017, 2020, 2023, and 2026 editions, specialty and emerging technology courses, NFPA 70E electrical safety courses, state-specific CE modules, Journeyman and Master Electrician exam preparation materials, and certificates of completion for successfully completed courses.3. Account Registration
To access our courses, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information, including your state electrical license details where applicable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. One person per account: Each account is for a single individual. Course access and completion records are non-transferable. Sharing account credentials or allowing another person to complete courses under your account is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination and invalidation of certificates.4. Course Access and Completion
Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course content for your personal educational use. Each course includes a built-in timer that tracks your active engagement time. You must meet the minimum time requirement for each module (typically 50 minutes of active engagement per CE hour) and pass the course assessment to receive a certificate of completion. Academic integrity: You must complete all coursework yourself. Using another person to complete courses on your behalf, using automated tools to bypass course timers or assessments, or any other form of academic dishonesty will result in account termination and may be reported to your state licensing board.5. Certificates of Completion
Certificates are issued automatically upon successful completion of a course. Certificates include your name, the course title, CE hours earned, completion date, and our provider identification information. We maintain completion records as required by state regulatory bodies. State approval notice: We are in the process of obtaining state board approvals across the states we serve. It is your responsibility to verify that our courses are accepted by your state licensing board before relying on them for license renewal. We encourage you to check with your state board or consult your state’s page on our website.6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without prior notice, though price changes will not affect purchases already completed. Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and PayPal through our secure payment processors. Launch pricing is available for a limited time (90 days from launch) and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.7. Refund Policy
Our full refund policy is detailed on our Refund Policy page. In summary: if you have not completed a CE course or specialty course, you may request a refund of your purchase price minus a 3% administrative fee that covers non-refundable payment-processing costs (credit card and PayPal transaction fees). Once a course has been completed and the certificate of completion has been generated, no refund is available. The 3% administrative fee does not apply when a refund results from a technical issue on our end, is required by state law, or is issued by us at our sole discretion as a goodwill gesture. Where state consumer protection laws provide greater refund rights, those laws take precedence. Exam Preparation Products. Exam prep products (Journeyman, Master, Combo) are governed by a tiered refund policy based on the number of practice exams attempted, subject to a 30-day refund window from the date of purchase. The full tier table and worked examples are on the Refund Policy page. The Exam Prep Tiered Refund policy is effective for purchases made on or after April 2, 2026.8. Intellectual Property
